Read moreThe project aims to empower vocational education and training (VET) teachers with the knowledge and skills required to effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their teaching practice.
The VITA project responds to the rapid digital transformation of vocational education and training. While digitalisation has already reshaped many aspects of VET, the emergence of artificial intelligence presents new opportunities and challenges for schools, teachers, and learners. AI-related competences are becoming an essential part of digital literacy, making it necessary for VET teachers to understand, evaluate, and meaningfully apply AI tools in their everyday teaching practice.
VITA supports VET institutions in rethinking their digital strategies by embedding artificial intelligence into standard curriculum lessons across all subjects and professions. By combining AI with active and student-centred learning methodologies, the project helps teachers foster engagement, innovation, and future-ready competences among learners.
